Weather Performance Evaluations
Comprehensive reports detailing daily distance, time, RPM, bunkers, wind, sea, swell, currents and any other variables relevant to the voyage. These analyzed conditions are used to calculate any time and fuel gain or loss basis the charter party description of the vessel for good weather conditions. The methodology used for the calculation of time and fuel gain or loss is basis the English Law precedents: "Didymi" [1988] 2 Lloyd's Rep 108 and the "Gas Enterprise" [1993] 2 Lloyd's Rep 352. Please see our Report Method page for details.
Performance Monitoring
Enroute monitoring of a vessel's performance for speed and consumption basis the charter party description of good weather with a detailed daily analysis of wind, sea, swell, current conditions and fuel consumption. This report is used to project any gain or loss for time and fuel consumption while the voyage is underway.
Route Planning
Route advice basis short and long term weather data, vessel type, loaded condition, clients needs and any other factors relevant to the voyage. We can provide short and long range route advice for any type of ocean going vessel ranging from project carriers, handysize bulk carriers and roro's to oil tankers and ULCC's. Route advice provided is always subject to safe navigation of the vessel.
Site Forecasting
Marine forecasting for coastal and offshore operations which include wind, sea, visibility, precipitation, icing potential air temperature and sea temperature. Marine forecasts are provided for: FPSO/oil platforms, tug/barges, lightering operations, towing/salvage and other off-shore projects.
